For a succesful game evening you will need:
- BT faculty members*
- BT students *
- Games, including but not limited to: Texas Hold’em, Nintendo Wii, Monopoly, Alias, Pictionary.
- Snacks, various kinds
- Punch with berries
* Similar results may be acquired by using people other than from BT; however, the results may vary.

Piste is collaborating with the Department of Business Technology to host a game night in Chydenia’s H-535 hall, complete with various games, snacks and fabulous company. Come check out the games on offer or bring your own! This is a great chance to meet other BT- and ISM students as well as department faculty for old and new students alike.

Piste is again in da zone, bringing you latest news via Internet, the communication medium of the third millennium! As an active subject club, Piste organizes Accenture Excursion, Game Evening and BT-subject evening this spring.
Excursion to Accenture is held on 21.2. just prior to Annual Ball kuntis, to which we will continue with the respected Accenture representatives. There are a (very) few places left, so if you want to participate, please write promptly to piste(ät)kyweb.fi!
In March, we will have a Game Evening with the lovely faculty of the BT-department. It is a chance to walruses, wanna-be-BT-major-students, actual real BT-students and faculty of our beloved department to meet outside the academic environment, play various games, talk and such. More information shortly.
It is notable that the event was suggested by the department, illustrating that the faculty in BT is extremely nice!
By now, the walruses must be wondering about the life of a BT-major. No worries, you can ask about the studies and jobs related to BT. On 8th of May, just one day after the quite interesting operations management final, a BT subject evening will be held. There will be very interesting information about the career you can achieve through BT-studies, and people who work in business life related to BT.
As BT, ISM, logistics, and Management Science and such are quite distant terms for walruses, it is highly recommended for all walruses to learn what they mean before choosing their major subject. Choose the major you are interested in! Find out if you are interested in BT! Know what BT is! Show up on 8.5. to learn more! Write it up in your calendar now!

Piste is a subject club for BT and ISM students, and here in the blog you may find information about the upcoming events and related activities. In the Board of Directors sub-page you will find the board and their responsibilities, “Events” details events, excluding excursions, which are found in the “Company Excursions” page. Should you fing yourself wondering what Piste actually means, please check the “Piste?” sub-page.
This year’s activities include the famous excursion to renowned company Accenture, which is only for Finnish-speaking students. It’s held on 21.2. just prior to KY Annual Ball Kuntis, to which we will continue.
Other events by Piste have been planned to include another excursion at the end of April, as well as a BT/ISM evening in which walruses, BT/ISM students, faculty and companies all come together.
BT and ISM Students’ subject club Piste has elected a new board to manage our activities in the year 2008.

The annual general meeting of Piste is held on Thursday 17.01.2008 at 18.00 in the downstairs cabinet at KY. Naturally the meeting serves also as a fantastic pre-party for the Rock ‘n’ Shots –kuntis. During the evening Piste’s last year activities will be shortly presented, the new board for 2008 is elected and after that the new Piste actives are passionately celebrated! Bring your own drinks of choice, Piste will offer some small refreshments.
