Business Technology subject club Piste (KY-Piste ry) was founded in November 2006. The club agenda is about promoting the BT and ISM programmes to the relevant stakeholders and working as an intermediary between the students, BT-department and business environment. Piste does valuable work that aims directly towards working life.
Piste activities have included e.g organizing excursions to highly interesting companies (Accenture, Satama, Deloitte) and a trip to the CeBit technology fair in Hannover, Germany.
Logo of Piste describes the integration of Business and Technology. Letters PIS refer to the Business side of our program, where letters TE stand for technology. The logo reflects present trend to integrate technology into business processes in order to enhance them.
