The annual general meeting of Piste was held on Friday 21.11.2008. Piste's last year's activities was shortly presented and then a new board for the year 2009 was elected. After this the evening continued on pre-Christmas party theme including snacks, refreshments, and good company.

Piste did it again! Following a great success of Piste Networking evening, the recent Song Evening was also very, very much liked. The revered toastmaster Jorma Kaista held our spirits high, and all of us held our spirit glasses high. Ernst & Young, an esteemed, global professional services firm kindly sent their representatives, and judging by E&Y employees, the company truly is one of the best places to work. Also, we had an honor to see the great Magician… err… Mathematician, honored professor Pekka Korhonen perform a truly wondrous magic trick! How he did it - well, nobody knew. After the dinner was eaten, the night continued with more singing. Then the sauna was already waiting, and many continued the night.

Business Technology Evening was held at KY on 8.5.2008.

Piste-Accenture-joint-organized excursion to the Accenture sauna and leisure facilities just prior to Annual Ball kuntis was a great success! The presentation clearly demonstrated company’s adeptness as well as the room-filling unity of the renowned Accenture’s Strategic IT effectiveness (SITE) specialists. Judging by their happiness and enthusiasm, the company clearly merits the “Great Place to Work”-award now for the second consecutive year in a row. After the presentation, we enjoyed a very nice buffet dinner with tortillas, guacamole and choco cake, some wine, other beverages and sauna. Then mingled a while, and continued our journey by taxi to Annual Ball kuntis.
